About #Project50StreetKids

Today, we launch our  annual fundraising Campaign: Project #50streetkids. As an organisation that supports street-connected children, 2020 really revealed the multiple vulnerabilities faced by street-connected children.   With no homes to go back to, restrictions on their means of survival as a result of the enforcement of strict lock down measures, stigmatisation and lack of access to basic amenities, these street-connected children are one of the most marginalised groups heavily hit by the effects of the global pandemic. Despite this, in our interactions with these kids,  we see their resilience and their hope which refuses to be crushed by a global pandemic and institutional neglect and encourage you to make their dreams come alive by supporting this campaign.
The goal of this campaign is to raise funds to support 50 more street-connected children in getting enrolled in school, pursuing skills acquisition training in order to launch their own dream ventures and receiving crucial counselling sessions. This campaign is our way of being proactive and shaping their Post-covid world and we want you to be a part of this.
